So, it turns out that Eddard Stark wasn’t lying. Winter was coming (if you’re not sure what I’m talking about, check out Game of Thrones). Winter has had its icy grip on much of the United States for months! With more bad news coming in everyday about all of the cold that is still coming our way, wouldn’t it be nice to be someplace warm? Someplace that doesn’t require eight layers of clothing when going out for the mail? Someplace where the wind doesn’t sting your eyeballs? Well, my friends, there is such a place – Ecuador. Did you know that the average low for Quito in February is 50 F? Did you know that the average high is 72 F? Well, if you didn’t, you do now. Please don’t get upset when I tell you this, because you might cry and the tears would then freeze on your face, but the forecasted temperature for Quito over the next five days is over 70F everyday. Just something to think about, travelers!
